Located in a very secluded area within nuremberg but there's a hidden gem. Came here with colleagues and we had superb food & good company for the evening. We let our colleague to pick our food & we were amazed by the presentation of the food, when we put into our mouth, it's tantalisingly awesome 😋 highly recommend for foodies.

High quality Italian restaurant where you can get creative dishes a little bit different to the standard Italian. It is also more expensive than the average but in my opinion worth trying. The venue is also pretty nice in an old building with walls of stones etc. Before Gallo there was here an expensive star restaurant. I think they also change the menu regularly. One of the dishes we wanted to try was already out at 20:30 but we found other things to choose. Food was good, especially the filet with very good meat and prepared rear as requested. The reason for removing one star is the service. It started well with a quick order, bottle of wine etc. Food also arrived quickly. However there were some details that need improvement, like for example I was left with the knife used for the starters to have a 38€ steak. A clean steak knife would have been appreciated. Also after the main course the service just disappeared. No one came to ask if we wanted dessert or coffe; we waited for 30 mins. Finally we had to go to the kitchen to order coffee. So in summary I recommend the restaurant if you like Italian and are looking for something special. But for a dinner over 100€ for two persons we expect a better service. Maybe they were overloaded, so we will give it another chance at some point.
