Eat: Unfortunately we missed the highly praised carp during the week. This is understandably only available on weekends for freshness and conservation reasons. The menu during the week is small , but typically Franconian with dishes such as knuckle, bratwurst or schnitzel. We chose the latter. The schnitzels were large, thin and tasted good. The sideboard was beautiful. Normally priced at €9.50. Service: The staff was very nice. The waitress was attentive and made sure the drinks were empty. Payment was also quick. There was no individual invoice, but the amount arrived and should have been correct. :-) Except at the very beginning, the waiter didn't have a mask on, despite being inside. This didn't matter to us because it wasn't too crowded and we were vaccinated, but for someone who places great value on it here it could be problematic. Ambiance: It's a somewhat rustic restaurant inside, but it looks very good from the outside. The light curtains also make the interior rooms appear bright. It seems to be a regulars' table restaurant. I like this better than endless silence, but if you have louder conversations at the neighboring table, this is probably the wrong place for you. I also found the many little things great, like hairspray, things for women's needs or hand cream in the women's toilet. Big praise for that! Conclusion: Good, solid food with very nice service, but nothing extraordinary. If we were in the area, we would come back. Not recommended for vegetarians due to the meat-heavy menu and for those with walking difficulties as stairs have to be climbed to the entrance and toilet. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stopped in spontaneously after visiting the outlet. It was amazing! We haven't eaten this well in a long time. 👍 Truly Franconian, and the hosts, like they used to say, "The customer is king." Funny, relaxed, and on the ball. 👏🏻
