Very nice and helpful personnel, clean rooms and a feeling of a "Gasthof" with tradition. The historical surroundings are very pretty. Breakfast is fine , the rooms are what you pay for plus an extra smile from all the nice people in this village.

We just went to the restaurant and did not sleep here. The food is typically german and a little grandma style. Lots of meat and little side dishes. A bit salty too. We did not totally get what we ordered according to the menu, but it was overall good. The service is super kind and the german gemutlichkeit is typical.

Absolutely wonderful!!!! If sitting in the three-season room you have an awesome view of the square and one of the fortress towers. I had the currywurst, which was excellent. Prices are great and the staff was nice!
