First time there today 03APR2025. Friendly environment, and the food was EXCELLENT. Highly recommend. When you arrive, select your table, go to the counter, order, then pay. Food is brought to your table. Finish your food and stow away your dishes in the cabinet.

One of my favorite stops during my visit to Germany!!! I found myself here while looking for directions and stayed for refreshments ... the cappuccino and tiramisu were some of the best I've had anywhere!! The atmosphere was idyllic in one of the most peaceful towns I've ever had the pleasure of visiting (despite accidentally finding myself stranded in town for many hours ... and if there was ever a place to be stranded, I'm glad it was this town). Everyone working at Hammermühle was kind, polite and some of the most genuinely nice people I've met, even despite the language barrier (my German is basic and from 20 years ago in school) I felt welcome.
