Beautiful location, pleasant atmosphere, but the cuisine is an acquired taste. We dined at this restaurant when we stayed at the hotel of the same name. The place itself is very beautiful, among the mountains, with a wonderful view from the terrace. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is polite and competent. Overall, we were pleased with the hotel, although it is worth noting that there are no air conditioners in the rooms, only fans. We were lucky with the weather, it was not too hot. Now about the restaurant. The impressions are mixed. Yes, this is a Bavarian village, Germany, and we did not particularly expect exquisite cuisine. But there were moments that surprised. We ordered fish - and it turned out to be completely tasteless. Without salt, without spices - just fried fillet, without any accompaniment. This was unexpected, because even the simplest dish can be made tasty with minimal seasoning. I hope this is a flaw, and not the style of the cuisine. 🍎For dessert we had apple strudel with ice cream - and on the contrary, it pleased us. In Germany, of course, they know how to make strudels, and this one was exactly as it should be: warm, aromatic and tender. Conclusion: I give it a rating of 4 out of 5 - primarily for the atmosphere, nature and pleasant staff, and not for the cooking. If you are looking for a quiet place with beautiful views and a cozy atmosphere - this is the place for you. But for delicious food, you might want to look elsewhere
