We stopped for a lunch after checking the authentic burg. The meal was equally authentic home made and delicious. We were lucky to get the last table.

Delicious meal. Everything homemade. The crockets were perfect (like fried mashed potatoes). We ordered jager schnitzel because we didn't know most of the items on the menu. It came with a delicious cheesy cream sauce and peppers and sweet onions with the mushroom. Portions were very large and filling. Was cash only.

I left Tännesberg early and arrived here in time for lunch. I deserved this today too. I think the Lindenhof is currently one of the best inns on the entire Goldsteig.
