Great inn! Located in the heart of town, with very friendly and personable hosts, delicious beer, delicious food, and very fair prices—everything's just right here! Highly recommended!

A fantastic inn, a great place to stop after a long journey. The host, the food, the atmosphere, everything is fantastic. I'm thrilled and can highly recommend it. We had previously planned to stop at the "Breitenberger Hof" (Germany) for lunch. Well, that was a joke. Although the opening hours were advertised (Monday to Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.), they were open, so we had to ask if the kitchen was still open. ☝️ Therefore, I recommend you drive the approximately 8 km further to Julbach (Austria) to the Gasthof Kutscherstadler, and you won't regret it.

Unfortunately, not all prices match the menu (unfortunately, still from 23) on the website. For example, the Meraner Kutscherpfandl (Meran Coachman's Pot) was €15.80 today, at the end of March 24, instead of €14.80, plus 6.5%. The vegetables for the Kutscherpfandl (red/yellow carrots) were very crisp, meaning they were only briefly blanched.
