Had lunch and everything was wonderfully arranged. Very good selection, super friendly and accommodating. Beautiful lemon trees, juka plants to loosen up the look. Interiors have been renovated see pictures.

The Hofwirt is located at a busy intersection in Kaisheim. The menu is extensive and we were able to swap the meat on the mixed platter. The service was very friendly. Everything tasted good. Reserving a seat is certainly an advantage.

We actually wanted to have a good, home-style meal and were misled by the name “Gasthof zum Hofwirt”. Unfortunately, it's not a classic Hofwirt but rather a Greek restaurant, which you wouldn't know if you don't know the area. In addition to the classic Greek dishes, there were of course also German dishes such as a schnitzel. Which seems very suspicious to us and doesn't seem very authentic. Among other things, we ordered a fish platter which comes in two sizes. - small and large - we were simply served the large platter without asking, which cost almost €40 even though we had a second main course. So you should be careful here and explicitly state the size of each dish so that you don't end up being unpleasantly surprised. The fish was also in a soup made of fat and oil. When we didn't finish the plate and pointed out to the waiter when we were clearing it that it was abnormal and that there was a lot of fat and oil, he just shrugged his shoulders. No understanding for the guest. It was also noticeable that the service staff consisted exclusively of older men, who also smoked very often, even though the beer garden was well filled. So the service didn't manage to ask us again if we would like something else to drink, which we would like. The service staff was at the table far too rarely. So we won't be coming anymore.
