We've rarely eaten so poorly and so expensively. The currywurst was presumably not freshly prepared but reheated. Ketchup with the fries? No way, it wasn't available. The two bread rolls were obviously overcooked; they were hard and crumbly. At least when we complained about this when returning the dishes, we got €2.50 back. Hence, two stars. Hopefully, this quality only affects the MS Utting; we can't comment on the food on the other ships.

Supplies available – but price, service culture, and quality have room for improvement Basic supplies are available on board, partly via vending machines. The prices there – around €4.50 for a bottle of water – are difficult to understand. The selection is limited, and card payments are not possible – hardly contemporary in 2025. Two employees on Lake Ammersee deserve special mention: friendly, dedicated, and very committed to ensuring guests have a pleasant trip. Thank you very much for that! However, this contrasts with an overall, sometimes arrogant attitude toward customers. The food, unfortunately, is also not convincing – neither in terms of taste nor in the range. Operator Paul Müller should seriously consider his pricing structure, quality, and service culture. Or is it time to consider a new catering partner on the ships of Bayerische Seenschifffahrt GmbH?

We went to brunch on the ship today. The appetizer buffet was very varied and good! However, the main course consisted of strange, tasteless potatoes (I think "ready-made" potatoes from a jar, for example). The vegetables were edible - but the turkey strips were a rather uninspired dish, which doesn't justify the total price :( Overall, it was a nice experience...but once and never again!!!
