The food is of high quality here, but the wait staff is overwhelmed and poorly trained. I waited 15 minutes just to get my food order, and I had to continuously stare at the wait staff and flag them down. The table was not cleaned. The food arrived relatively quickly, but when I wanted to pay it was the same story: trying hard to make eye contact and flag the waitresses down, but to no avail. One shouldn’t have to wait 30 minutes to pay.

My wife and I visited the Pavillion on Friday the 18th of July. We were served by a young man named Ronan. He was very informative, spoke excellent English and helped us to translate the menu. The bier, wine and food were excellent. The setting beside Lake Ammersee was stunning with a clear view of the lakeside. The service was quick, friendly and we didn’t need to wait for our order to be taken and the food was delivered quickly and hot. A big thank you to Ronan for his help to a couple of non German speakers
