Excellent, freshly cooked food, authentic Bavarian decor, and very attentive and friendly staff—we can only recommend it without reservation! The price is right, too: two regional dishes, two large spritzers, and two double espressos—less than €60, which is reasonable! We've made reservations again 👍😊

We've been spending our summer holidays here for 15 years, and we've always enjoyed eating at the Rothlerwirt. The food has always been good, home-style, tasty, and flavorful. However, the quality mentioned has declined gradually in recent years. This year was definitely our last visit. The food was completely tasteless. Almost no items on the daily menu were available in the early evening. Many typical Bavarian dishes, such as roast pork or Leberkäse, are no longer offered. The path to the terrace is anything but inviting. You stumble over deep-rooted weeds; the once beautiful terrace is now littered with weeds under the tables. A table for four can only be used by three people because the flowers from the side bed are creeping up onto the table and chairs. It creates a very unkempt impression, even in peak season (see pictures). Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend the Rothlerwirt in good conscience.
