I went there by myself for dinner. The service (by the owner) was very friendly and the food was great. The atmosphere is happy and welcoming.

We always enjoy returning to this lovingly run restaurant. Thomas and Ute take great care of their guests' well-being – you immediately feel the family atmosphere that makes this place so special. The menu impresses with down-to-earth, homemade cuisine. We especially recommend the rump steak with roasted potatoes and roasted onions – perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful. The goose with dumplings, red and green cabbage (which we were initially skeptical about – but Thomas won us over) is also an absolute delight. We've always had a wait, which is perfectly acceptable. The prices are absolutely fair and more than justified given the quality of the food. This won't be the last time we visit you, and we're looking forward to the next one. The Steak Eaters🤣

Very nice restaurant, close to the sports complex of Göttingen University. We had a large group of 10 dining in, notified the restaurant only hours before, but they still managed to accomodate us! The food was very good, and the service warm and welcoming. 20/20, would go again if I find myself in the neighbourhood.
