Ordered lunch yesterday. One schnitzel with fried potatoes, salad, and a drink. The food finally arrived after 2 hours. The fried potatoes were mushy and not fresh (pre-sulfured potatoes from a bag). The schnitzel was good. The hollandaise sauce itself was good. I would have liked the asparagus in it to be fresh, for the price I paid, and not just the heads from a jar. The salad was wilted in places, unloved, and there was far too little dressing, which, to everyone's disappointment, wasn't even very good.
Rounded up to 4 stars, actually more like 3.5. Delivery time of just under an hour (from the other side of town) was fine for Saturday evening. Contact friendly. The portions are infinitely large! That's the only reason why the prices are reasonable. The quality is just mediocre, it actually doesn't blow you away. However, the food we ordered (Jägerschnitzel and Gyros [gratinized]) was very edible. In detail: The rice is unfortunately pretty bland. The hunter's sauce for the schnitzel is apparently not a "real" cream sauce, but tastes more like a thin cream sauce. The schnitzel was better than expected. The gratinated gyros (with skewered veal) probably tastes better "not gratinated". The cheap cheese does nothing for this dish. Overall, some salt is missing everywhere. There was kindly a simple green salad as an additional side dish, which was not listed on the menu. Conclusion: You can do it. If you want large portions and aren't too fussy about taste, you'll definitely get your fill here. Tip: One serving is easily enough for two adults.
This meal was an absolute disgrace. A schnitzel very dry with a breading just before burnt. What was underneath was more edible. Neither of them looked like they had seen a pan or a deep fryer. The "fried potatoes" were potato slices from the jar or from the freezer that had no color, were not seasoned and had a maximum of 2 grams of onions. The sauce was a ready-made hollandaise into which a few sliced, unfried mushrooms were simply thrown. It was also burned on the bottom of the aluminum tray. I would bet that the three ready-made components were simply thrown into a pizza oven. Cooking looks different. Instead of Diet Coke, schwip schwap was delivered with sugar. The driver did not follow the delivery instructions. The side salad was definitely not freshly made, but it didn't seem too old. Lahmacun also absolutely unreasonable. No idea when the meat was cut from the spit. Definitely had a weird texture. Depending on the side, totally limp or browned. This was definitely just thrown into the pizza oven. Is there something this store doesn't do by throwing it in the oven? Nobody in the world should order here.
