Combined with a hike from Weckbach, we visit the restaurant 4 to 5 times a year. Good home cooking, friendly service, small beer garden, all of this can be found in an idyllic village. Absolutely recommended. My tip, a Bembel Most with the farmer's steak

Great excursion restaurant in a really quiet valley. Road ends here, we were there on our bikes. Also ideal for hiking. Food is great , good Faust beer, with a terrace. Service quick and attentive. Eating takes a while, everything is prepared fresh. There would be 5 stars if the portions were larger. Still ok for seniors or girls, men are still hungry after eating. Especially if we came here by bike like we did.

The restaurant "Zum stillen Tal" is beautifully and quietly located. Rustic, home-style cooking is served with friendly staff. The beer garden is right on the road, but who cares? This is the end of the road, and Gönz is just a small, tranquil village. The farmer's steak was delicious and plentiful. Always busy on weekends, and also quite popular with cyclists. Highly recommended.
