Food and service were great. Very well priced menus with up to 9 courses. Very attentive service and a great wine selection. An English menu is recommend to better serve international guests.

This is a true hidden gem just a 45 minute drive by train away from Stuttgart. The service is great. We were greeted very warm-hearted and it stayed that way. We both don't eat meat, but this is no problem at all. They can adjust the menu so you can have only fish and seafood or only vegetarian. The setting is very nice. It is an old inn, but carefully redesigned. It feels really warm and cozy, but with a touch of class. The food is very good. You can choose your courses from the menu or you can just say surprise me and just pick the number of courses you like. Two courses were really sticking out, when we visited. One was the trout tartar and one was a course with octopus pasta. However the other courses were really good, too. We will definitely make the journey from Stuttgart again.

A very solid offering in upscaled german fine dining. We opted for the four-course menu, which included a Kohlrabi essenz and an amouche on top of the four courses. The Monkfish on Beetroot Risotto was a standout dish, well executed and flavorful. The main course, the tenderloin steak, was equally commendable. Service was efficient and attentive throughout the evening, with the staff ensuring a smooth dining experience, which is not easy to find. All of our needs were very well taken care of and the staff was very friendly. The ambiance is classy, though not particularly unique. While the pricing is on the higher side, the quality of the dishes and the attentive service justify the cost. I would definetly recommend visiting the restaurant.
