Jiangnan Restaurant : Bavariaring 8, 87600 Kaufbeuren

To start with the good things : * The restaurant inside is modern and good looking * If you want bottomless sodas its only 1.5€ extra * Toilets were reasonably clean * Price is decent for both lunch and dinner * The coffee machine is pretty good. The bad bits : * Food taste overall is bland lacking any personality , noodles were dry and tasteless , shrimp was foul and to cover up they added lots of garlic when cooking , some of the worst dim sum that i ever tried that did not taste fresh at all. * Meat cuts are laughable diced mini pieces not actual chunks * FLIES everywhere kissing all the raw and cooked food , staff see but dont care * At 34c @ 1800 hours AC was completely switched off (or no fans to be seen if such a nice place does not have AC) * You pay 5€ if you have any leftovers so basically even if you try something and you don't like it you will have to pay or force yourself to overeat (can be a good thing for those who may really waste yes) * Ice cream machine was broken and desserts in general are dry bread that looks good but tastes of nothing. * Fruit had that fridge taste like when bacteria starts to build up as if the fridge filter is not changed or was not cleaned and dissinfected on a weekly basis * Staff don't smile , look tired of the job that they are doing, don't come to ask if all is ok or you need anything apart from when they just give you the menus and good luck . It's hard to say if this place was better and got worse or it was always average to bad since people with no comparison between 2 or 3 places just accepted the food as is considering this to be allright. Eating within similar places in England - some cheaper or equal value with this price but also including one whole year of Vietnamese buffets i can say that I won't be coming again as even McDonalds seems to be a safer more delicious option around .

I think its a really great place

Huge when not one of the biggest Buffets in Allgäu. It’s pricey on Sunday, but still it’s affordable as If you go somewhere else to eat at a restaurant prices will be the same so I’ll go with this one. Food is fresh and drinks are included. Staff is really nice and there is plenty of food for every taste. Love this one as we go every month 1-2 times.
