If you’re traveling to Bavaria, by way of Baden-Württemberg, by morning and afternoon you might catch a glimpse of the Austrian/Liechtenstein mountains which border between Germany and Italy. By night the sky is dark, so you might want to find yourself basking in the atmosphere of Bavaria, maybe even Austria. And there is no more comfortable place I have discovered in a little town of marktoberdorf, than this little restaraunt called Zum Sailer. Tucked away behind a small church, this place has a very warm and insulated environment serving delicious Austrian cuisine. In a world where life is hard and cold, this restaurant brings a warm and professional feeling from the staff. Tonight I had Schweine Halsbraten with the potato dumplings and red cabbage, along with 2 L of light beer on tap! It was spectacular!!!!! I recommend this place to any travel, English or German speaking, in the hopes that they will enjoy delicious Austrian cuisine, whatever they decide to order. This restaurant is the type of place which says that this is what Germany should be!!!!
