Eiscafe Roma : Münzhalde 3, 87600 Kaufbeuren

If you come to Kaufbeuren and are not sure where to get delicious ice cream, you definitely have to come to the Roma ice cream parlor. In my opinion, Benny simply makes the best ice cream in the city and regularly expands his range. The prices are good and the portions are large. Nice ambience and great seating. Here you will always receive friendly service. Absolute recommendation from me.

The "Eiscafe Roma" in the middle of Kaufbeuren's old town offers some unusual but delicious ice cream sundae creations. My wife and I chose a “Marsala bowl” and a “Fruit cup”. The "Marsala Bowl" consisted of creamy ice cream with a generous splash of Sicilian sweet wine. The "fruit cup" was even better with pieces of fresh fruit and the four really fruity flavors of fruit ice cream: raspberry, mango, lemon and dragon fruit (!). The price-performance ratio is absolutely reasonable at around €10 for an ice cream sundae (as of August 2024).

The ice cream was good to satisfactory. The latte macchiato was good. Only the After Eight sundae didn't contain any After Eight ice cream. The sundae costs €6.50 and contains four different flavors of ice cream. The conditions are very nice, though. I would choose a different cafe next time.
