Super cosy place, very nice service and great food!

It's very cool to fry the meat yourself on a hot stone. You definitely have to try this experience. Beef fillet was excellently marinated and was very tender and tasty. Red wine sauce with pepper was also very tasty and went perfectly with the meat. The deduction points were for fries - they were not made from fresh potatoes, but from frozen ones. I wanted to order fried potatoes, but these were not fresh potatoes, but pre-cooked ones. Then I ordered the baked potato but specifically asked for the potatoes to be cooked through, it looks like it was pre-made and then reheated 🙈 but not enough, wasn't cooked through and cold in the middle. But it wasn't included in the bill 👍 In my opinion, it would have been nice if, for example, a plate had been given to put aside the fried meat and bread, which would mean another point deduction. And finally, the room smelled of smoke even though we sat far from the door as there was a terrace nearby where you could smoke. It really bothers me when I eat. So one point is lost. Otherwise, life is wonderful 👍

Edit: My review refers to the steakhouse in Mönchengladbach. It has since relocated to Frechen. If the owner and concept are the same, I have no doubt it will be an enjoyable experience. Original: I was here a few days ago with a friend and was thrilled! The concept is great and easy to understand. The variability allows you to decide how cooked each bite is – nothing can burn! The atmosphere is also great! The lighting gives the restaurant a bright atmosphere without losing the typical rustic character of a steakhouse. The landlady is super friendly and welcoming, which contributes to a great, feel-good atmosphere. You can tell I really enjoyed it; we'll be back! Thanks
