It was a decent restaurant that had good service and a good location. We ate the salmon and salads and it was a bit bland but might be one of the better places near this area.

Very nice and cosy family-owned Gasthaus. Excellent location with views on the Walchensee lake or Herzogstand peak. Moreover a bus-stop is located practically in front of the Gasthaus with convenient bus going to Kochel am See, Mittenwald or Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Works great in connection with guest-cards received at the Gasthaus that allow to use this bus for free. Very friendly atmosphere. Our room was comfortable and had a nice balcony. The Restaurant offers a good selection of local cuisine at a very reasonable price level.

Just went to the Restaurant. Super friendly service. Great Wiener schnitzel and schokuchen. Spätzle was not my favorite :) Will come again!
