Perfect for rest when travelling through Germany (a bit far from motorway), room was generally clean ,no air con so we had to sleep with windows open making us targets for mosquitos, when we checked in the host wasn't speaking English at all and was a bit grumpy. Just up the road, there is a pizza place if you need a bite.

I really don't know who writes these "4 or 5 star" reviews!? This is my first negative review ever. We paid €125 right at the reception from an old man who can barely walk and hear. The beds are extra short, so if you are over 180 cm. legs and head constantly beat during sleep. The stench of staleness is everywhere and the furniture barely holds together. Everything is old and smelly. We entered at 22:35 and left at 09:28. Whether it is traditional or not, since it has not been renovated or modernized with a very poor reception and hospitality, in addition to our concern whether the old man will endure at all while he collects the bill and shows us the room, the price per night is way too high for such an ancient hotel, actually, the price is not a problem ... the problem is staying there in such conditions, therefore, I do not recommend it and I will definitely look for another hotel in the region next time.

Everything tidy and we had a nice view from the balcony. Not exactly stylish interior though and the owner seemed a little bit senile and was difficult to talk to. But everything went smoothly. Nice breakfast buffet.
