After eatings schnitzels here and there during our two month tour of Germany this was the best schnitzel. It was made with love and very tasty. Very cozy place and very friendly staff!
I don't often give 5 stars. Ambiance rustic cozy service attentive and very friendly. Had dinner there yesterday. Pleasant little menu with Franconian specialties. I had a crispy beer knuckle my wife's schnitzel Viennese style. Everything was very tasty. My wife still raves about the homemade ketchup. Ate sauerbraten there again today. Delicious ! The prices are fair and the portions served are more than sufficient. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back at any time.
Shortly after entering the restaurant it was clear to us that we would have a lovely evening here. This was due, on the one hand, to the cozy and appealing atmosphere and, on the other hand, to the warmth of the hostess. Our reservation turned out to be quite smart as the restaurant was busy. The two of us sat at the large round table, which can comfortably seat 6 people. So, with our consent, guests were repeatedly seated at our table. We thought that was great because we quickly got into conversation with the other guests and it made the evening very entertaining. All food and drink was served promptly and we felt well looked after at all times. The quality of the food was first class, there wasn't the slightest thing to complain about. The draft beer called Scherdel's Zoigl, which was completely unknown to me, was incredibly delicious! Thank you for the wonderful time at the “table of encounters”, we really enjoyed it. The Gasthof zum Seelöwen is a haven of hospitality for us!
