SHOKO Brunch & Bar : St. Gallerstrasse 1, 8853 Lachen

This is a wonderful establishment serving amazing brunch and owned by a very friendly couple. They opened Shoko Brunch to fill the gastronomic brunch gap in Switzerland and it definitely does just that! My friend and I visited on a Sunday morning and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, the service, and the food. Their menu caters to all tastes and features both sweet and savory dishes. My BFF and I each sampled a different savory dish (eggs benedict and the brunch burger) and split a banoffee dream french toast to satisfy our sweet tooth (because what’s a brunch without savory AND sweet 😉???). While the drive for us is quite long at 1h25m, it was well worth it and we made a nice Sunday out of it by heading to the Landquart Outlets afterward. We would highly recommend Shoko Brunch. I’m a big brunch fan and this place ticks all the boxes and hits the spot! Email for a reservation as it fills up fast. The owner is very responsive and got back to us within 20’ish minutes on a Saturday evening for an early seating the next morning. Tip: There’s a paid parking lot nearby called Parkplatz Äussere Haab.

Great cocktails, vegetarian apéro board and amazing staff! Edit: we had brunch over there and it was delicious, lots of creative dishes and classics too, and superb smoothies and lattes with vegetal milk options! Highly recommended!
