We found this place for dinner (two weeks ago) while visiting the beautiful Bavarian town of Landsberg AM Lech. It's in the neighborhood, not in the touristy area. It was a Thursday evening and they were completely booked. Luckily, they were able to accommodate us, a party of 7, in their quaint patio. I much prefer to dine al fresco anyway. There were a lot of local regulars, which is a great sign. This would be my regular place too if I lived in the area. We saw big parties and couples on dates. The decor is simple and functional, no frills. This is a long established family run business and their food was really good. I believe the young man that served us is a nephew. Our favorite was the seafood platter, the squid was soft and the fish flavorful. We dug in and forgot to take a picture of it lol. We also had the grilled meat platter, also very good and big portions. My son had a dish with grilled pork and mushroom sauce, he ate all of it. Overall, my family really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. A perfect end to our day trip to castles and small Bavarian towns. I wish them continued success so that I can return if I find myself in Landsberg Am Lech again.
