I visited this restaurant for the first time, beautiful and cosy, nice service and atmosphere. What I did not like was the fish soup which was not like fish soup and not like cream soup either...also very salty. I recommend also to change the desserts as there is no cake for example with fruit (to use everywhere in France only chocolate and caramel for desserts is « boring »)

Absolutely delicious food delightful atmosphere and kind service. The restaurant is dog friendly. Service was quick and very friendly. We look forward to go back.

This was my 3rd visit to Au Vieux Moulin and I was careful not to order too much because the portions could be quite big. In fact the Discovery Menu was perfect as you get to taste different dishes and the portions were just nice. When in Alsace definitely go for the foie gras, they brought it to the Southwest and not the other way around. I would have like it pan-fried too, but it would have been too much then. The scallops were a little too chewy though. The Volnay was good, the serving staff were friendly, attentive and at least bilingual. We have enjoyed everything we ordered today. It made it worth the trip to Lauterbourg from Stuttgart (which we make from time to time to renew our passports).
