We got a table for four last Friday evening in the best beer garden weather. The weather in the beer garden would be even nicer to enjoy if the great and large beer garden with the huge shady trees were designed a little more lovingly and nicely. A table and 4 chairs isn't good for the ambience! Food was ok and within the price range.
Good Greek restaurant, with a salad included as a starter. To have a good time, because the restaurateur is really friendly.
Visit on Monday, November 4, 2024 in the evening The Artemis in Lichtenau is located on the main street of Lichtenau and has a good starting point. I reserved a table in advance. Once you arrive on site, there are wall displays in the entrance area with additional offers outside of the menu. After entering I was greeted and assigned my table. When I was setting it up, I noticed that in some places they tried to set it up in Greek, but in some places, like the old typewriters, I didn't see any connection to Greece. In addition, you can see many personal things and pictures of the owner and family in the restaurant, which is intended to create a more personal impression. An order: > 304 - Kir Royal glass 0.1l for €5.50 >> When I placed my order I was told or asked that this was made with sparkling wine instead of champagne and whether I would like it with pomegranate syrup or elderflower - I was a bit surprised about this because the original Kir Royal is made with blackcurrant liqueur. I decided on pomegranate syrup - but from my personal point of view this drink is no longer Kir Royal and so the topic is missed. Suggestion for improvement for the restaurant to rename the drink to "Kir Royal according to the house style" - this ensures that the restaurant produces it differently and deviates from the original, as the name Kir Royal is generally known to guests with the production and you can be a bit irritated if you are served something different. Therefore there are deductions from me here. > 265 - Imiglikos rose 0.25l for €5.90 > 02 - Onion soup for €5.80 >> Onion soup was generally good in taste, but only slightly overbaked and therefore, in my opinion, this should have been more if this was included on the menu - see picture. Here too you could certainly write: “according to the style of the house”. > 30 - Garlic bread for €4.40 > 45 - Calamari rings , vegetable rice and salad for €15.00 > 163 - Espresso for €2.40 > 155 - Vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries and cream for €7.40 Summary: The onion soup needs to be revised, as already described - the garlic bread had a good taste - the calamari rings were tender and I was surprised by the taste - the vanilla ice cream was a good dessert classic. What bothered me most was the incorrect preparation of the Kir Royal, as it is a product with solid ingredients and there are significant deviations here locally.
