Mixed feelings here. The positives:. Food was tasty and server was very friendly. Also, we were able to get a table without a reservation on Saturday night. The negatives: service was extremely slow, and getting the bill took 20 mins. Credit card machine was broke so it was cash only. Also, rösti was good but lacked some salt, same for the fried potatoes. Also, 24 eur for a 140g veal steak was a bit pricey. 19€ would have been more apt, along with a larger salad and larger rösti

I had the butterfish with potato cake and salad. The fish was delectable and very meaty. The proprietor told me that the fish is big like a tuna and comes from the Atlantic Ocean. The texture is like swordfish. Highly recommend this fish.

A recommended restaurant centrally located on the town hall square in Bad Herrenalb! The modern, beautifully and comfortably furnished restaurant offers German-Swiss specialties. In summer there is a very nice outdoor area with shady trees and parasols with lots of seating! The German owner, who will be new in 2021, gained many years of experience in the catering sector in Switzerland and now offers Swiss federal specialties! Rösti with a variety of interesting side dishes such as high-quality meat, fish and vegetables are the tasty, versatile offerings in Switzerland! Daily and seasonal offers complement the menu! Excellent wines round off the offer! The rooms are lovingly furnished in every detail and are very modern, including the sanitary facilities! We dined here on Mother's Day based on a recommendation and were extremely satisfied, also with regard to the price/performance ratio! The mothers were offered a free glass of rosé sparkling wine as an aperitif on Mother's Day! We'll be back, we really enjoyed it! The friendly service is also particularly worth mentioning!
