First of all, I have to say that the food is freshly prepared with fresh ingredients. That's really great. However, the flavor was a bit bland. More spices would have improved the taste. As it was, it was so-so. The pasta dish was overloaded with sauce. Sometimes less is more. The fries were delicious, but the schnitzel was flavorless, despite the cheese, which is a shame. The service was quick, courteous, and friendly. You don't find that very often these days. The ambiance is a bit dated, and there's room for improvement. Perhaps there will be more. Ultimately, yes, we can recommend this place, although we won't be coming back anytime soon.
We are very happy to come to you because the price-performance ratio is simply very good. Portions are very generous, but every now and then you can manage a dessert and you shouldn't miss that. Requests, especially those of children, are also addressed in a very friendly and courteous manner. It just tastes good, everything we have tried so far (schnitzel, salad plate, tarte flambée, steak etc) is very tasty. It is an old inn, but has been refreshed with modern furniture and decoration. You sit comfortably and the service is also very friendly. Care is also taken to ensure that the glass does not remain empty for long - that's how it should be. Dogs are also welcome.
My girlfriend and I were there yesterday and were really surprised. A small village pub, really inconspicuous from the outside, with excellent food. I had the Ratsschänke bag with homemade fries and my girlfriend had the cream schnitzel with croquettes. For dessert, which wasn't on the menu and was recommended to us, there was a huge scoop of baked vanilla ice cream with strawberry chocolate sauce👍. So I can only recommend everyone who is on holiday here to dine there
