You wouldn’t think that such a small town in north Saarland has this good of a restaurant. The ‘Kaminzimmer’ is one of Alexander Kunz’ two restaurants, awarded the Bib Gourmand by Michelin. The food was overall truly delicious. I ate the best fish soup I ever tried. Also, they offer ‘Salzwiesenlamm’ which is a rare speciality from Brittany that you can’t find that often. And guess what, it was amazing! Overall great value for money. They even have a surprise menu every Thursday, that is not to expensive.

Every course was perfect. We couldn't find any flaws. The ingredients were of outstanding quality, and every element of the menu was perfectly seasoned. Everything was harmonious and very expressive. The service was professional and unobtrusive. We would gladly return.

A very cozy and, above all, peaceful atmosphere in the fireplace room. The service is attentive, and requests for changes to the dishes are not a problem at all. The prices may be high, but you get more than just your money's worth! In addition to generous portions, the first-class taste is what stands out most. You should definitely try something from the grill—world-class!
