Seehotel Moldan : Seestraße 10, 84389 Postmünster

It is the only dog-centered hotel in Germany that allows dogs to swim with their humans all-year round. The rooms are huge and can actually fit up to 4 people- the room we were in had a loft. I subtracted a point because an airconditioner should be installed to handle super hot summer nights. It is also quite a far drive but people drive up to 9 hours just to go there. Would love to book again soon. Our dog Sushi loves it there too.

We had high expectations with all great reviews but coming there it was a different experience. Pool crowed with the same people the whole day, we couldn’t enjoy the good weather, no space available. Queue for 30 min to get barbecue for dinner. Dog menu is not included, and price is quite expensive for people without dog food, limited pool, both saunas off, after 6 pm the pool was free but full of dirty glasses and flies around them. Cobweb everywhere, I understand being in the nature, but there were huge ones from long time. Looks like it’s a hotel for a group of people and they have the most fun. Will definitely not visit this hotel again. Last problem was with no English speaking, at least not for us and as a hotel I would expect it.
