Nice ambience, service, and food. I am not sure why the rating is so low for this place. This is a nice place and strongly recommended . The girl who served us was very lovely, and we could feel her passion in the job.
I would strongly advise against sitting at the table shown in the photo. On July 13, 2025, we visited this restaurant for the first time, right on time for the official opening time. However, the doors were still locked, so I called the phone number provided. I was kindly informed on the phone that they would open in a few minutes. Shortly afterward, we received a warm welcome and, as the first guests, were free to choose where we wanted to sit. We opted for the covered table structure outside. The waitress – a friendly woman from Ukraine – took our order promptly. The drinks arrived quickly, and shortly afterward, the owner arrived, who was also very friendly. We chatted for a few minutes in a pleasant atmosphere. The food – a schnitzel and a cordon bleu – arrived after about 20 minutes. Both were tasty, but the French fries were not crispy, but rather soft and greasy – apparently the frying oil wasn't hot enough, a known risk when ordering right after opening. The course of the evening suddenly took a turn for the worse when two men appeared, headed straight for our table, and told us it was the regulars' table. It wasn't marked as such, and neither the waitress nor the owner had told us anything of the sort beforehand! While they "allowed" us to remain seated there during our meal, they joined us without being asked and began to speak loudly and provocatively. The Upper Palatinate charm was clearly palpable – unprompted, direct, and with the matter-of-factness of someone who believes the moss and buffalo belong to them personally. After their behavior became increasingly unpleasant, I addressed them directly and asked them what was going on. A brief but unpleasant discussion ensued, after which we decided to leave the restaurant. The owner had become aware of the situation through my explanation and, while understanding, did nothing in our presence to clarify the situation or intervene.
Here, you can talk to the staff using Google Translate, which is very pathetic. I don't want to comment on the snake food 🤮 from the microwave. The bill was handwritten without a proper receipt. "Black money" says hello. This place should be avoided at all costs and left alone.😡
