After a nice cycle along the Main-Donau-Kanal this Biergarten is just the place you need to rest. Affordable and yummy food, nice drinks from their own local brewery.

Went there for a weekend trip. Restaurant has a warm and cozy atmosphere. Main theme is deer hunting. Food is traditional franconian kitchen. Beer is very good. I had a "Pfefferkarpfen" (baked carp with black pepper and salad) which was excellent and is highly recommended if you are at the place between september and april. Rooms are nothing special but warm and clean and have good value. Breakfast was also solid with typical german cheese and sausages to choose from. There are vegetarian options both for breakfast and on the regular menu.

We came just for a meal, and this place was busy which is always a good sign and frequented by the locals and the mayor! It is very much like a typical Frankisch "keller", so a beer garden where you order and pay yourself and bring your food and drinks yourself to the table. Like I say noisy but very good value for your money and an authentic beer garden experience .
