Unfortunately - due to a local festival - they had a reduced menu, without any vegan option. Had to leave without having dinner. Too bad, since the setting is quite beautiful. However, such things shouldn’t happen, esp. since they have vegan options otherwise. I understand their reasoning that they needed to reduce the menu in order to cope with the high demand during the festival, but this is no excuse to circle out an otherwise welcomed customer clientele

We wanted to taste the genuine local German cuisine and at Der Stern we full achieved the target. Excellent food, superb quality/price ratio, very nice location and, last but not least, the competence and kindness of Eni and Stephan. Really worth coming back again!
