We recently attended a friend’s wedding in the Champagne region of France, and the German restaurant that catered the event completely blew us away. From the moment the meal began, it was clear that this team takes immense pride in their craft. The food was absolutely outstanding—authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Each dish was a perfect balance of comfort and sophistication. Filip and his team were warm, professional, and genuinely attentive, creating such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. You could tell they cared deeply about making the experience seamless and special for everyone. The chef’s passion came through in every bite, and the service was flawless from start to finish. Truly one of the best catered meals we’ve ever experienced. If you're considering this restaurant for an event—do it. They are exceptional.

Great little find! This restaurant is found inside a beautifully restored property in the heart of the city. The service is friendly, and the food is very creative and tasty. Recommend this for a romantic lunch or dinner.

We had an incredible evening at Herr Restaurant in Rothenburg. The five-course menu was absolutely delicious, featuring local ingredients like Tauberthal Wagyu, which was a real highlight. Each dish was thoughtful and full of flavor. Chef Sascha made the experience even better by personally explaining the dishes and even coming over to offer us more sauce—such a nice, personal touch! The atmosphere was relaxed and unpretentious, which we really appreciated. The restaurant is small and has a bit of an improvised feel, but that only added to the charm. Everything about it felt genuine, and we loved every part of the experience. If you’re in Rothenburg, this is definitely worth a visit.
