We went to the craft market for the opening of the season in the Celtic village for the first time. The lovingly recreated and detailed buildings from the Celtic era really impressed us and stimulated our imagination in a positive way. In every Celtic house there are furnishings that clearly represent the life of the Celts. The architecture of the buildings appears very elaborate and authentic, as far as you can tell. In any case, very exciting and entertaining for interested young and old! The craft market was just as impressive because only homemade items were allowed to be offered and beautiful, high-quality handicrafts (e.g. woodwork, ceramics, jewelry, ironwork, knives, leather goods, masks, drinking horns, etc.) could be seen and bought. Of course, the physical well-being was really well taken care of and, for events like this, it was remarkably high quality and delicious. The craft market at the opening is a highly recommended tip for us (for an unbeatable 3 euro entrance fee including parking fee!!!). The Celtic village is certainly a very good way to pass the time if you keep an eye on the dates for events and presentations on the homepage. Recommendation!

Summer vacation 2025 Very small, no activities on this day. Excellent restaurant.

The extensive grounds are home to numerous buildings and facilities similar to those that stood and were used here during the time of the ancient Celts. These include, for example, an herb garden, a forge, and a fireplace. I find the temple, the sacrificial site, and the burial mound with its column particularly beautiful and impressive. I was there both times during the off-season, so I can't comment on any waiting times or capacity. The complex is elaborately designed and shows great attention to detail.
