Both outside and inside we had great view. The food was great and served hot. The people there do speak good English and are quite friendly. The payment is done via Debit card and no credit card was accepted on that weekend. So better carry cash. If you sit inside then go to the other side of the restaurant as the view is quite nice. Portions were good for 1 person. Veg options were also good and available.
I particularly enjoyed the Kase Spetzley, which was served with fried onions and a side salad. The combination of flavors was delightful. The portion size was good. Additionally, the ambiance of the restaurant, with its panoramic snow view and gentle sunlight, added to my enjoyment. However, I found the Karotten soup to be average. It did not meet my expectations in terms of taste. I appreciate the effort put into providing a pleasant dining experience, and I look forward to future visits. Overall, I found the service and food to be excellent.
We hiked up the mountain which took us three hours so by the time we got to this place we were tired and hungry. The inside of the restaurant was nicely warm which helped us recover quickly. :) The staff who served us was not so overly friendly, just busy as he had to serve many people at the time. The mistake I did was to order non-German dishes at a German restaurant. I advise anyone to never do that 😂 because the taste is guaranteed to be bad. It was my mistake to order risotto and it had absolutely no taste whatsoever, and there was no cohesion in the taste. The vegetables and the soup and the rice all tasted so separate it did not feel like it was one dish. I should’ve gone for Käsespätzle which looked really nice there. On the other hand, the schnitzel we had was quite tasty and we enjoyed the dessert as well.
