Great view, nice environment, food was also quite tasty! Not easy to get there but it worth the trip! Better to book a table - can be quite crowded :-)

Beautiful view of the Lake Gruyères from the terasse. Nice and quiet location to have a meal or ice cream on beautiful days. As for food, it was OK but not exceptional. We had the "Chef Surprise" as appetizer. It was tasty but not worth the price at all in my opinion (22CHF!). I had the beef entrecôte, it was overcooked compared to what I asked ( I asked bloody but was medium borderline well done), however the meat was tender and I still enjoyed it. My girlfriend had the cuchaule burger which was tasty. The homemade fries were very good, crunchy and not oily. The vegetables were enjoyable with a curry mousse. Homemade cake as dessert was nice as well. One thing to note is that some of the beef comes from Uruguay, which is not really acceptable for a Swiss restaurant. Switzerland has enough beef not fetch it from the other side of the world.

Beautiful place to have a coffee or eat at the restaurant. The service is nice, the view on the lake wonderful and the food very good. You will need a car to arrive there and it worth it.
