We had a wonderful experience at this lovely local spot, seated outdoors on a beautiful day. The service was excellent—friendly, prompt, and made the entire meal even more enjoyable. We ordered the sausage platter and the crispy pork shoulder, and both dishes were outstanding. The pork shoulder was perfectly cooked—fall-off-the-bone tender—and came with a rich brown beer sauce, sauerkraut, and a soft potato dumpling. Every element complemented the other beautifully. The sausage platter included four varieties, each delicious in its own way, but the spicy sausage stood out as our personal favorite. It’s definitely a must-try! We also enjoyed their house beer, brewed in-barrel. It’s a light, airy lager—refreshing and just perfect for a summer afternoon. Highly recommend this place for great food, great beer, and warm hospitality!

I ordered three types of sausages and I like two of them. One of them was a little spicy, but it wasn’t my preference. The local pork knuckle was good but their skin was a little hard than crisp. Coffee affogato was pretty good. The Apple strudel was more like a pie than a strudel. The wait person was very nice. She came every now and then to check us out if everything was ok.

The visit has taken place on June 2025. We sat outside and liked the view. The salad was super delicious. The cabbage dish with tiny pieces of maybe bacon in it was very good. The sausage dish was also delicious. The foods were delicious overall but a bit pricey im comparison to portion which is justifiable due to the location. The lady who served us at our table was not happy when we tipped zero… but that should not be a thing in here, the serving, the smiles should not exist only for tipps, the tipping systems should be removed completely. This creates a burden, a bad memory, and a sense of self guilt. I recommend this place and come back only for salad.
