Cafe am See : Fritz-Hagner-Promenade 2, 74906 Bad Rappenau

We've been there three times now. Unfortunately we only got food from it once. Arrived at the restaurant at 1:00 p.m. yesterday on Mother's Day. There were still a lot of seats available outside. We like to sit outside because we have a baby in the car and don't want to disturb the other guests if the little one gets fussy. I ask the waiter if there is still a table for two or if we should look for one. She just says flippantly that she doesn't know. So we sat down at an empty table. After 10 minutes she strolls past our table. I politely call out to her if she could bring us the card. She looks at us in surprise and “the ice cream menu?” After I explained to her that we wanted something for lunch and the normal menu, she ran away again. More minutes passed and the next waitress came and told us that we wouldn't be served because the kitchen was overloaded. So after waiting 20 minutes we were allowed to leave. Very unpleasant and unnecessary situation. Maybe think about training service staff. My first Mother's Day and my mood after the action in the basement and my stomach. Nevertheless, I give it four stars because the food was simply delicious last time. The veal schnitzel and the asparagus are on point. The sauce is a dream. The chef should get a raise because thanks to him the fine dine can afford such service errors.

On July 28, 2017, we celebrated our wedding in the grand hall at Fine Dine, Kurhaus Bad Rappenau. A total of 180 people attended, and we sat at 18 round tables. Mr. and Mrs. Güthlein, the caterers, provided excellent support and advice from the first contact through to the execution of the celebration. Mrs. Güthlein was always available to answer any questions or for special requests (an outdoor ceremony, extra tables for the children, a candy bar). The food (appetizer, main courses, and dessert buffet style) was absolutely fantastic; there was more than enough of each dish, and the guests were thrilled with the quality! The wedding cake, baked and prepared by Mrs. Güthlein's team, was not only visually stunning but also delicious! The service was very friendly, courteous, and always present. Conclusion: Thanks to Mrs. Güthlein and the venue, our wedding celebration was a wonderful, unforgettable event! We can recommend the Fine Dine at the Kurhaus Bad Rappenau to anyone who wants to make their celebration a wonderful event!

This was our second time at Fine Dine and we had an excellent meal again. The saddle of veal steak with chanterelles and tagliatelle was simply brilliant. There is a lovely outdoor area with a view of the lake and the service leaves nothing to be desired. Big praise from everyone.
