A very atmospheric place, right in the heart of the Old Town. The staff was very friendly, and the food was good. However, we happened to visit when the restaurant was understaffed and quite busy. Unfortunately, we had to wait an hour for our main course. The waitress explained the situation and apologized, and she was very kind throughout. Despite the wait, the food was enjoyable.

For dinner on a weekday we visited the Old Chancellery with a reservation. We noticed that, despite being fully booked until 10:00 p.m., the nicely furnished restaurant was only about half full at 7:15 p.m. The waiter and the owner were attentive and very friendly, the selection of dishes wasn't exactly extensive, but the price was up! Our pizzas were served quickly and tasted very good, but the size is not suitable for those who are very hungry!

This was the worst meal we’ve had in a very long time. We ordered carpaccio as a starter. The bread was stale and the meat didn’t taste good. The chef responded defensively. Admitting the bread was stale but that the meat was good. Our main meals had clearly been left to over cook. They were both stodgy. We both left feeling unwell and sick. Over 15 hours later and I still feel unwell.
