The view from the restaurant is fantastic, unfortunately the food is only so, so. The service was very good. To be fair we only had lunch and maybe the dining experience is very different, but the salad I had was not really fresh and a disappointment. Fresh home baked cakes looked very appealing!

Great panoramic view of Freiburg, antiquated food, slow service. Recommended for people aged 60+ who don't care much for "modern" food trends like vegetarian, vegan, international cuisine. Very good traditional food in small portions, at relatively high prices.
