Chili, Pepper, Lemongrass, Nürnberger Str. 18, 90518 Altdorf bei Nürnberg

We spontaneously stopped by Chili, Pepper, Lemon Gras in Altdorf today because our car needed to be loaded – and what a stroke of luck that was! We received an incredibly warm welcome and extremely friendly service. As a nice gesture, they even offered us a schnapps on the house. The wine I drank was an excellent Franconian wine, and the selection of local beers is also top-notch. The food absolutely won us over: fresh ingredients, crisp wok-fried vegetables with an impressively large selection, and perfectly balanced spices. The freshly ground pepper deserves special mention; you could really taste its aroma. Even the spice paste was homemade, not industrially produced. We were completely satisfied and can highly recommend Chili, Pepper, Lemon Gras!

It was our first time here and we immediately noticed the love that goes into this shop! Every single dish or drink is lovingly prepared and served. Conditions is totally friendly and always has a smile! We were also completely impressed by the taste! Everything is fresh and of top quality and at very, very fair prices! Unfortunately I can't give it 5 stars because the waiting time was simply too long. That's the downside of the great preparation. Unfortunately it was also very cold in the restaurant, which is a bad combination when it comes to the long waiting time. Nevertheless, we will definitely come back and can highly recommend the restaurant.

I spontaneously stopped by for dinner today and was absolutely thrilled. The waitress was only there for the second day, but you couldn't tell. She was very friendly and helpful with the questions I had about the dishes. The food was delicious, and everything tasted very fresh. That's how it should be. In summary: I was completely satisfied and went home full and happy. I can definitely recommend this small but cozy restaurant and will definitely be back. Thank you so much!
