We stopped there because it's one of the few restaurants open for lunch on weekdays. The small menu was perfectly adequate, and the food and drinks were tasty and quickly prepared. A typical Franconian restaurant, highly recommended.

We stayed in the apartment at the Gasthaus zum Felsentor for four days. The hosts were wonderful. Delicious food and good drinks at great prices. The accommodations were fantastic. We said we'd come back, and that's our goal. Simply perfect.

A great restaurant with friendly staff. Idyllic location, and the beer garden is world-class. Very good, reasonably priced food, a true feast for the palate. We need to improve on the fruit brandy. We'd love to come back.
