Cabbage sawmill, Altensteig. Idyllic location - right on the Zinsbach next to the old sawmill. The menu is small, but what we've eaten so far has been delicious. The service is friendly and we simply feel comfortable there. The guest room - you almost get the impression that time has stopped - plus a beautiful beer garden - a place to slow down - and that doesn't even cost extra. When we cycle towards Altensteig or Zinsbachtal - it's hard to avoid a stop.

We arrived from the back through the forest on our mountain bikes and were enchanted by the idyllic location. The innkeeper was super nice, and we enjoyed the delicious beer and coffee afterwards. It's definitely worth stopping here.

So beautiful and idyllic. Super friendly service. The owner is also very nice. Three dogs are welcome and the location is absolutely wonderful. The food is delicious. There's no better way to end a wonderful, sunny day on holiday. An absolute MUST if you're in Altensteig!
