German Hutmuseum Lindenberg, Museumsplatz 1, 88161 Lindenberg im Allgäu

It is one of those small specialised museums. It is not large, but covers a lot about the history of hats and the history of the local hat factory. It takes around an hour and a half hours to go through the whole museum at a normal pace. This is a lot to see and would certainly suggest the place.

Lovely museum. Very well done! I enjoyed learning about Lindenberg. The bistro in the building looked very cool as well although I didn’t get to go in.

Interesting history of straw hat making in the area and also surprisingly a large display on the history of bicycles with many old bikes from the beginning of biking.
