The food is good, at average prices! But the staff is extremely unfriendly, they rushed us to pay and were without patience for some reason. Another review states that the service on Sundays is unfriendly, we were also on Sunday there, but i doubt they are friendly on other days.

Irschenberg is arguably the most legendary motorway service station. I stayed at the hotel for four days and was able to enjoy the food there. A coffee on the outdoor terrace with a phenomenal view of the mountains turns the break into a mini-vacation. I would especially like to thank the very helpful and friendly staff. Irschenberg has always been worth a stop on every trip. I'll be back—hopefully soon.
