Haveli Indisches Restaurant, Kirchenstraße 2, 91301 Forchheim

First thing : Haveli is a Pakistani restaurant. So do not expect authentic Indian taste. Ambiance is good with comfortable seating. We ordered a naan, Dal Makhani and Tawa subzi and a mango lassi. The Dal Makhani tasted and looked completely different from the typical Indian dal Makhani. The tawa subzi was a tomato infused subzi with an interesting taste. Overall, the taste was nice . The naan, rice and mango lassi were great. The only problem with this place was that : When I asked the owner if cards are accepted, he had said yes. But when we had to pay, the card machine did not work. So I had to walk 2.6 kms back and forth to draw money from a Sparkasse ATM. This delayed our plans. Overall, I would recommend this place. But please carry sufficient cash, since there is no ATM nearby. Also, make a reservation in advance before going, especially on weekends.

Love this place! After ordering takeaway multiple times we finally decided to try the restaurant itself. Amazing! Really friendly and the food is always good. Highly recommend!

I have been here last week with my friend. This was Really a good experience to be there. We ordered Curry with Naan that was tasty. The service was also good. Behaviour of the staff was gentle and kind. I would like to come here again soon for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend.
