A very nice cellar with delicious food, a great atmosphere, and plenty of shade. There are also an incredible number of play areas for children. We always enjoy coming here. The only drawback is the very limited number of parking spaces.

Why the "Kellerwaldschänke Lunz" is called the Kellerwaldschänke isn't entirely clear. Firstly, the "Kellerwald" is in Forchheim, and secondly, there isn't even a "beer cellar" here. It's just a beer garden. Aside from that terminology, it's a lovely place. Idyllically situated behind Willersdorf, on the edge of the forest and several fish ponds, the spacious grounds are equipped with plenty of seating. There's also a very large playground for children – the little ones certainly won't get bored there. There's often live music in the evenings, and there are occasional theater performances. The prices are reasonable. The selection of dishes is more than decent. The bread was very fresh and tasty, even warm, despite the holiday. The food was delicious, and as I saw, so were the others. The neighbors at the next table had baked potatoes, and I have to say, I had no idea such huge potatoes existed. It's worth noting that the kitchen opens half an hour after drinks are served. So if it's open from 11 a.m. on a holiday, like on a holiday, you won't get any food until 11:30 a.m. Don't wait aimlessly in front of the closed window like I did :-D The beer is from Greif, Forchheim I liked it, I'll be back :-)

Very good food for a cellar restaurant, with a relatively large selection of cold and hot dishes. Good value for money. Recommended for the Erlangen, Höchstadt, and Forchheim areas. Ideal atmosphere for families with children, with a spacious and easily accessible playground. Plenty of seating, traditionally between the trees or even with a covered area. As is typical for Franconian cellars, self-service – except during peak times with relatively reasonable wait times of 3-5 minutes. What I particularly liked was the way complaints were handled; the food was replaced without discussion, and they even offered a schnitzel on the house – that's what I call commendable and professional customer service. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
