This cafe saved us on one cold Sunday morning when all other places where we could eat breakfast were still closed. It’s located near the old church and the atmosphere here is very calm and nice. The staff was very friendly and polite. Coffee and cakes were good .

Small place, crowded. Service was incredibly slow, totally under-staffed. Small selection of cakes for a Sunday afternoon. Cherry streusel had a hair in the bottom crust and the server just said "it happens sometimes, do you want another piece?" No apology at all! We declined another piece having lost our appetite. The server did not even take the effort to remove the plate. We covered the hair with a napkin that we had to get ourselves so we wouldn't have to keep looking at it. In the end, we were still charged for it. Unbelievable!!

A most idyllic spot in the heart of Goettingen'Old City. Great coffee and cake. Not too pricey. Very kid friendly. There is a sandbox and toys. Staff is most friendly and accommodating. Spacious outdoor space as it located in pedestrian only area. They have about two cake options on average every day. Cortado is something they are unfamiliar with, but the cappuccino is tasty.
