Restaurant Kussmühle, Pappelweg 16, 86316 Friedberg

We visited Wirtshaus Kussmühle for the first time today and were more than impressed. The menu is very well-organized, and I always say that less on the menu usually means better quality food, and that's absolutely true here! I can't stop raving about it. We had the Allgäu Cordon Bleu with delicious pretzel coating , served with Kässpatzn made with mountain cheese , homemade fried onions, and a side salad. My partner ordered Kaiserschmarrn to round off the culinary experience. We were also delighted with the dessert and can highly recommend this restaurant. In the clean restrooms, women will find everything they need , should they ever need something ;-) Super cute, found in baskets! Parking is available right in front of the restaurant. The staff, of course, also deserves a special mention and praise. Friendly and attentive service. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality of what you get. Rarely have you eaten such good Bavarian food! So, folks, if you're ever in the area, stop by! You won't regret it! . Regarding the bad reviews. Of course, it's a matter of opinion, but in my opinion, even on a bad day, it couldn't have been that bad! Everything was made with love and everything was homemade! . I hope that as many people as possible give the new tenants a chance and stop by. Because, in my opinion, there's hardly any better Bavarian food in the area!

We were there today for the opening and everything was really wonderful. The waitresses were incredibly helpful, kind and very child-friendly! The food was really tasty and plentiful. My husband had suckling pig with coleslaw and I had cheese spaetzle with mixed salad. The son schnitzel with fries. He really enjoyed the fries as they were well seasoned. My Kässpätzle were bursting with cheese, so they didn't skimp on the cheese. They are not so creamy, but rather really cheesy and firm. Exactly my taste. The schnitzel was large and homemade, you could see that. Although we were so full, we still wanted dessert 😅 there was a brownie blueberry cheesecake with two scoops of ice cream and cream. Delicious! The toilets were clean and the new facility is incredibly beautiful. Lovely and stylish at the same time, they really made an effort and put all their heart and soul into it. We will definitely come back! 👍🏻

Oh how nice it is to have a Bavarian restaurant with a great beer garden here again! We felt really comfortable from the first moment, which was not only due to the really good food, but also to the extremely friendly and warm service . It felt a bit like “coming home” to a restaurant with a family, feel-good atmosphere. We will be regular guests again in the new Kussmühle.
